Cooking is one of the best activities to learn about most subjects while including your kid in the household daily activities.
For babies it could be a sensorial activity to explore smells, textures and temperature while for older kids it could be a whole lesson on science, maths, language and life skills.

For your kid to be engaged and not get bored while you try to put dinner together it is really important to be able to see what is happening.
