let there be light!

This activity can be adapted to your kids age and interests. So it could be just a visual game for your baby or if your kid is older they can do the whole activity by themselves. There are lots of great activities with torches, we made a little selection here:

Tupperware flashlight (for babies) 

– Shadow Science (for toddlers)

– Flashlight Constelations (for toddlers onwards) 

– Light Painting (a dlr camera is needed)

Kids love lights! You don’t need an specific activity. Just switch off some lights and explore with the torch. You will see that lots of little games arise from this simple idea, plus it is also a great tool to improve vocabulary.
